On-site Inspection of COVID-19 Quarantine Management, Strict Quarantine Measures Ordered
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do has designated the period from the 10th to the 14th as the 'Seol Holiday Special Traffic Measures' period and will focus on inspecting COVID-19 quarantine management practices at transportation facilities and vehicles such as passenger terminals, buses, and taxis.
On the 9th, Heo Dongsik, Director of the Urban Transportation Bureau, visited Jinju Intercity Bus Terminal, where a large number of homebound travelers are expected, to conduct a special inspection on compliance with quarantine rules in the public transportation sector.
The key inspection items on that day included whether passengers and drivers were wearing masks, whether terminals and vehicles were disinfected, compliance with social distancing between passengers, and announcements of preventive measures.
At the site, Director Heo expressed gratitude to transportation company officials who have been struggling due to the decrease in passengers caused by COVID-19, saying, "Thank you for thoroughly managing quarantine during these difficult times," and urged, "Please continue to focus on quarantine management so that residents can use public transportation safely and comfortably."
