SK Magic plans to increase brand awareness and preference in local Asian markets, including Malaysia, by appointing actor Park Seo-joon as its promotional model. Park Seo-joon enjoys high popularity mainly in Asian regions such as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore, and is expected to serve as a catalyst for penetrating the Asian market and expanding global business. SK Magic established its Malaysia subsidiary at the end of 2018 as a foothold for overseas market expansion and has been continuously strengthening its investments. It operates a water purifier rental business under the brand name "JIK.SOO (Jiksu)," which is the English transliteration of the Korean pronunciation of its flagship direct water purifier product, and is gradually expanding its product lineup to include air purifiers, bidets, and more.
