To accommodate customers who find it difficult to visit their hometowns, Starfield plans to create a safe shopping environment with thorough quarantine measures and contactless services during the holiday season.
Starfield is expanding its smart order service, "Sseuk Order," which allows customers to place orders and make payments via mobile in one go, to all Starfield and Starfield City locations (excluding COEX Mall). Sseuk Order is a service that lets customers order food from popular restaurants within Starfield without waiting in line by using a QR code or the SSG Pay app.
Popular restaurants from nationwide and regional areas have also newly opened one after another. At Starfield Hanam, Pildong Hambak is gaining popularity; on the 2nd floor of Starfield Anseong, Seobunrye Master Cheonggukjang and Jeongeup Old-style Gimbap are attracting customers; and at Starfield COEX Mall, the emotional cafe Gabedo is very popular.
In collaboration with the Korea Cultural Heritage Digital Preservation Association and Blue Canvas, the "Digital Homecoming" exhibition, which digitally restores national treasure-level cultural assets that have been taken overseas and allows visitors to enjoy them through large media towers and panoramas, is also being held. All Starfield locations will host the exhibition "Our Overseas Cultural Heritage, Digital Homecoming Exhibition," featuring digital restorations of overseas cultural assets such as Mongyudowondo (by An Gyeon) and Suwol Gwaneumdo, until the 21st.
