[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Baegam Office of Naejangsan National Park under the Korea National Park Service (Director Lee Jaewon) announced on the 8th that it will strengthen the 'Maintain Distance While Visiting' campaign and safety guidelines in national parks to prevent the spread of COVID-19, as the social distancing level 2 has been extended until the Lunar New Year special quarantine period.
The safety guidelines for maintaining distance while visiting national parks include ▲keeping a distance of at least 2 meters during visits, ▲walking in a single line on the right side of the trail, ▲wearing masks and washing hands, and ▲not staying long in crowded places such as rest areas.
The Baegam Office of Naejangsan National Park plans to not only strengthen promotional activities about maintaining distance during the Lunar New Year holiday but also enhance disinfection measures at multi-use facilities (visitor centers, campgrounds) so that visitors can explore safely and enjoyably.
