In an interview with CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' on the morning of the same day, former Minister Park said, "I find it a bit difficult to agree with linking marriage or childbirth issues to money."
She emphasized, "Marriage or childbirth itself is something people pursue for happiness," adding, "I believe the approach should be to make urban life happier and make it easier to raise children after childbirth. The condition for a city's success is that a joyful city succeeds."
Regarding former lawmaker Oh Shin-hwan's criticism of Na Kyung-won by calling her 'Na Kyung-young,' she also said, "I think criticism is possible." Former Minister Park pointed out, "I don't think people marry or have children just because the city gives money," and added, "I don't know on what basis the amount was calculated, but that part also needs to be convincing to Seoul citizens."
