Lotte Food Recruiting 19th Generation of University Student Marketers 'Hidden Supporters'
Various Benefits Including New Product Trials, Marketing Practitioner Lectures, and Final Winning Team Prize Money
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Lotte Foods announced on the 8th that it is recruiting the 19th generation of university student marketers, ‘Hidden Supporters,’ until the 21st.
Hidden Supporters is a university student marketer program by Lotte Foods that has been ongoing since 2012. It has been operated for 10 years as it offers opportunities to experience practical marketing work in a food company and various benefits.
This 19th generation of Hidden Supporters has expanded the number of recruits from the previous 15 to 20 to broaden opportunities for external activities during this period when university students’ activity areas have been reduced due to COVID-19. The activity period is a total of six months, from March to August.
This generation will carry out a project proposing new home meal replacement (HMR) products and marketing strategies of Lotte Foods. While conducting the project, participants will receive continuous feedback on their ideas from actual practitioners. In addition, they will engage in activities such as experiencing various Lotte Foods products, providing opinions, and creating social network service (SNS) content.
Hidden Supporters will receive various benefits, including a fixed activity allowance during the activities, a marketer appointment certificate and completion certificate, monthly awards for outstanding marketers, final outstanding team certificates, and prize money. They will also have opportunities to attend marketing lectures by current marketing practitioners and to experience new Lotte Foods products first every month.
The selection for the 19th generation will be conducted through non-face-to-face interviews considering the COVID-19 situation. Any university student from first-year to the first semester of the fourth year, including enrolled or on-leave students, who can participate in the supporters’ meetings held monthly at Lotte Foods headquarters, can apply regardless of their major. Interested students can download the application form from the Lotte Foods Supporters Cafe (cafe.lottefoods.co.kr), fill it out, and submit it via email.
