Operation of Comprehensive Situation Room for Holiday Measures Underway
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 6th that it will implement comprehensive measures to ensure that all residents can have a warm and comfortable Lunar New Year holiday from the 11th to the 14th.
The county has prepared sector-specific measures including disaster and accident response, COVID-19 prevention and quarantine, traffic measures, resolving residents' daily inconveniences, safe water supply, household waste collection, support for marginalized groups, and strict establishment of public service discipline, and will operate a comprehensive holiday situation room.
In particular, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and provide emergency medical care for local residents, a screening clinic and a 24-hour emergency quarantine task force will be operated to block the inflow of COVID-19 into the region and respond promptly to any situations that arise.
Additionally, during the holiday period, an on-site inspection team will be operated to check the temperature of visitors at the memorial facilities and manage quarantine.
