Two Additional COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Muan, Jeonnam
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Two new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been reported in Muan, Jeollanam-do.
According to Muan County, two residents of Hyeonggyeong-myeon who had contact with confirmed cases in Seoul tested positive for COVID-19 in the early morning of the 6th, and were classified as Muan cases number 12 (Jeonnam 763) and 13 (Jeonnam 764).
Test results for two close contacts of cases 12 and 13 came back negative, and tests are being conducted on about 20 other contacts.
Muan County is urging residents to refrain from entering the affected village and is conducting epidemiological investigations while confirming additional movement paths of the confirmed cases.

A Muan County official requested, “Please refrain from going out and visiting other regions,” adding, “Wear masks properly, avoid conversations during meals, and if symptoms are suspected, visit a health center for testing.”
