Gwangju University Nursing Department Graduates Donate Development Fund
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju University announced on the 5th that 46 nursing department graduates this year collected and donated a development fund to contribute to the alma mater's progress and the nurturing of juniors.
Graduates Yang Ye-rim and Lee Jae-hwan from Gwangju University’s Department of Nursing, along with Department Head Jang Mi-young, Professor Kim Eun-young, and Professor Yoo Sun-yi, met with President Kim Hyuk-jong in the administrative building’s reception room to donate 555,000 KRW to the development fund.
Graduate Yang Ye-rim said, “Thanks to the excellent teaching of the school professors and the school’s active support in improving classrooms and providing practical training equipment, I was able to graduate and find employment. I wanted to give back the love and support I received, so I gathered a small fund to donate.”
