Imsil-gun Implements Comprehensive Measures for Public Stability During Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, is actively promoting comprehensive measures to stabilize livelihoods by strengthening COVID-19 quarantine and revitalizing the local economy during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
According to the county on the 4th, from the 11th to the 14th, the Lunar New Year holiday, the county has prepared comprehensive measures to resolve local residents' daily life complaints and maintain COVID-19 and AI quarantine systems.
The comprehensive measures operate a total of six teams: Disaster and Disaster Countermeasures Team, Living Environment Improvement Team, Water and Sewage Countermeasures Team, Traffic Countermeasures Team, Medical Quarantine Team, and Livestock Quarantine Team.
All daily life complaints arising during the holiday period will be resolved immediately to ensure that local residents can spend a safe and comfortable holiday with their families, and thorough preparations are being made.

Also, to revitalize the local economy and ensure that all residents have a warm holiday during the Lunar New Year period, the purchase limit for the local currency, Imsil Love Gift Certificates, with a 10% discount, has been temporarily raised from the existing 500,000 won to a total of 1,000,000 won?500,000 won each for mobile and paper certificates.
By doubling the limit on local gift certificates, it is expected to expand consumption within the region and provide significant support to small business owners facing difficulties.
For disadvantaged neighbors in blind spots within the region, Imsil-type disaster relief funds are provided in gift certificates, helping to revitalize the livelihood economy.
The Imsil-type disaster relief funds were distributed in gift certificates ranging from 150,000 won to 250,000 won to 1,151 households in the county, including low-income and near-poverty groups, seniors over 65, severely disabled persons, and multicultural families, who have experienced double hardships in livelihood during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays after COVID-19 last year, and again this Lunar New Year.
Along with this, various policies are being implemented rapidly, such as promoting the recently active “Like Flowers, Like Imsil” love flower purchasing campaign and drive-thru non-face-to-face agricultural specialty product sales events to help local farms struggling to secure sales channels.
