Korea-Indonesia Climate Change Policy Sharing: "Expanding Overseas Business Expansion"
'Climate Change Programming Workshop' Held on the 4th
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced on the 4th that it will jointly hold a "Climate Change Programming Workshop" online with the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia.
In this workshop, Korea's climate change response policies and project experiences will be shared, and ways to promote Indonesia's green industry will be discussed.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance plans to support capacity building for climate projects and disseminate Korea's best practices. It will also strengthen the strategic partnership between Korea and Indonesia to discover cooperative projects related to the Korean-style Green New Deal.
The Ministry stated, "It is expected to serve as a driving force to expand the overseas advancement base of domestic public institutions and private companies related to the Green New Deal." Accordingly, the government plans to actively share its policies for the transition to a low-carbon green economy in the future.
