Increase Seoul Metropolitan Subway Services by 24 Runs Until 11 AM to Minimize Passenger Inconvenience
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] Korea Railroad Corporation (Korail) announced on the 3rd that it will increase the number of subway operations by a total of 24 during the morning rush hour on the 4th, as heavy snowfall is expected in the metropolitan area.
Korail plans to add more trains between 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to accommodate the increase in passengers and minimize inconvenience during the morning commute.
The number of train operations will increase by line as follows: 6 on the Gyeongbu, Gyeongin, and Gyeongwon Lines, 5 on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, 3 on the Gyeongchun Line, 4 on the Suin-Bundang Line, 2 on the Ilsan Line, 2 on the Ansan Line, and 2 on the Gyeonggang Line.
