Three New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Jeju...Total 527 Confirmed
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Park Chang-won] Three new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Jeju on the 3rd.
According to Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, from midnight to 5 p.m. on the day, three people tested positive and were classified as Jeju cases 525 to 527.
The total number of confirmed cases increased to 527.
Jeju case 525 arrived from Hungary the previous day, underwent a diagnostic test at Jeju Airport screening clinic, entered self-quarantine, and was notified of a positive result at around 1:20 p.m. on the day.
Jeju case 526 is an entrant from the Seoul metropolitan area, who was tested the previous day and confirmed positive on the day. Two family members classified as close contacts are undergoing testing.
Jeju case 527 was identified as a contact of the existing confirmed case Jeju 524.
