Boseong-gun to Reopen Small Cinema on the 5th After Break
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] Boseong-gun announced on the 3rd that the Nokchagol Boseong Small Theater, which had been closed for nearly a year due to the impact of COVID-19, will reopen on the 5th after a long break.
The theater will operate 365 days a year without holidays, and on the opening day, the 5th, the films "Three Sisters," "There Is an Alien in Here," and "Soul" will be screened.
The admission fee is 7,000 KRW for 2D (general) and 9,000 KRW for 3D (general). To expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for socially marginalized groups, soldiers, seniors aged 65 and over, persons with disabilities, and national merit recipients can watch 2D (general) films at a discounted price of 4,000 KRW.
However, the discount applies only after identity verification such as leave permits or ID cards.
Yoon Il-soon, director of CineDream Boseong Branch, which operates Nokchagol Boseong Small Theater, stated, "We will do our best to ensure that visitors can watch movies safely and comfortably by strictly following quarantine rules."
A Boseong-gun official said, "We thank the residents who patiently waited for the reopening despite the long closure due to COVID-19 and other reasons," adding, "After reopening, we will continuously improve any shortcomings to provide a safe viewing environment and expand cultural enjoyment opportunities for residents."

Meanwhile, Boseong-gun plans to operate the theater while adhering to enhanced quarantine rules, including disinfection before and after screenings, temperature checks, visitor log registration, mask-wearing, social distancing between seats, and prohibition of food consumption, which are essential quarantine measures for theaters.
