Korea Citi Bank Hosts Event to Support Children with Cancer with Kyung Hee University NGO Internship Students
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Citibank Korea announced on the 1st that from the 20th to the 29th of last month, more than 60 executives and employees, including President Myungsoon Yoo, participated in the ‘15th Citi-Kyung Hee University NGO Internship Program’ along with 75 students, and held a ‘Sharing Day’ activity.
Citibank Korea designates one day during the program period every year as ‘Sharing Day’ to allow internship students to cultivate civic awareness through community service, and has carried out various volunteer activities. This year, to comply with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, the activities were conducted online. Citibank Korea executives, employees, and participating students individually made 160 masks to be gifted to children with pediatric cancer.
President Myungsoon Yoo stated, “We hope that the heartfelt efforts of our employees and students will be a great support for children with pediatric cancer to regain healthy lives.”
