View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] Na Kyung-won, former lawmaker and People Power Party's Seoul mayoral pre-candidate, and Oh Se-hoon, former Seoul mayor, strongly criticized the Blue House on the 30th for its plan to take 'legal action' against Kim Jong-in, the emergency committee chairman.
Chairman Kim criticized the inclusion of documents related to the 'promotion of nuclear power plant construction in North Korean territory' among files that Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy officials deleted en masse before the Board of Audit and Inspection began auditing the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant, calling it an act of treason. The Blue House said it would respond strongly, including legal measures.
Former lawmaker Na Kyung-won said on Facebook that day, "I've never seen politics like this before," adding, "A president who immediately threatens legal action over a single word from the opposition leader?" She said, "A president who cannot even tolerate a single criticism from the leader of the main opposition party is not fit to be the president of a democratic country," and "Trying to gag even the opposition leader's voice is no different from gagging the people's voices and forcing silence. This is backward politics, politics of fear." She continued, "They must be in a hurry, which means they are seriously caught," and said, "This is a total response at the regime level. Are they afraid the truth will be revealed? The truth about the 'nuclear power plant gate' must be uncovered."

Former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon also wrote on Facebook, "To think they would even try to hand over nuclear power plants, which are directly linked to national security and the lives of the people, to Kim Jong-un?are they out of their minds?" He said, "The regime obsessed with 'nuclear phase-out' pushing to support nuclear power plant construction in North Korea leaves me speechless at this regime's duplicity." He added, "Now the entire nation understands why the Moon Jae-in administration and the ruling party tried so hard to block investigations into the early shutdown of the Wolseong Nuclear Power Plant and to remove Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol and Board of Audit and Inspection Chairman Choi Jae-hyung," and said, "If it is true that they considered supporting North Korea's nuclear power plants, this is a clear act of treason. If it is not true, they must stake the regime's fate on revealing the truth."
