Seoul 50 Plus Foundation Western, Central, Southern, and Northern Campuses Open Enrollment for 156 Courses in March and April
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul 50 Plus (+) Foundation announced on the 1st that it will begin recruiting students for the first semester educational programs at the 50 Plus Campus starting from the 3rd.
The Seoul 50 Plus Foundation provides customized educational programs through four campuses?Western, Central, Southern, and Northern?to help the 50+ generation plan new work and life after retirement. It also supports counseling, job linkage, and community activities.
Among the first semester courses at the four 50 Plus Campuses, a total of 156 courses for March and April are being recruited this time, and they will be operated mainly online and non-face-to-face in response to the changed environment due to COVID-19.
With the opening of the Northern Campus, a hub campus in the northeastern area, last year (November 2020), this year each campus will strengthen and operate specialized programs reflecting the characteristics of their respective regions.
This first semester educational program is especially composed of various content suitable for the online education environment, and the courses to enhance the digital capabilities of the 50+ generation have also been expanded.
Educational programs conducted at the Seoul 50 Plus Campus are open to any Seoul citizen preparing for life after age 50, and applications can be submitted through the 50 Plus Portal (50plus.or.kr) starting from 9 a.m. on the 3rd.
