Yangsan City, 'Gender Equality Support Project Contest' ... Total Project Budget 60 Million Won
Applications Accepted by the City Hall Women's and Family Department Until February 16
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, is calling for applications for the '2021 Gender Equality Support Project' from January 29 to February 16.
The application fields include three categories: designated public projects focusing on expanding women's economic and social participation and capacity building, spreading gender equality culture and enhancing gender sensitivity, and general public projects such as community safety enhancement and fostering healthy families.
This year's support budget totals 60 million KRW, with up to 15 million KRW per project for designated public projects and up to 5 million KRW for general public projects. The self-funding ratio is 10% of the project cost.
Eligibility for application is limited to non-profit corporations and private organizations that have their main office in the jurisdiction as of the announcement date and are engaged in activities promoting gender equality culture, gender equality promotion, women's human rights protection, and welfare enhancement.
Applications can be submitted by mail or in person to the Yangsan City Women's and Family Division.
The final selected projects are scheduled to be implemented starting in March.
