Gyeongju City Recruiting Participants for 'One Month Living' Program for Prospective Return-to-Farm and Return-to-Village Residents
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Gyeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province announced on the 29th that it is recruiting participants for the 'One Month Living Experience' program, which provides an opportunity to personally experience Gyeongju and encourages settlement in the city.
This program, running from April to November, will be held three times this year targeting ▲1st session hopefuls for returning to farming and rural areas ▲2nd session young entrepreneurs ▲3rd session artists. Each session will recruit about 10 households, approximately 20 people.
For the first session, applicants must be residents registered in other cities, counties, or districts who are interested in Gyeongju and wish to live there for one month as hopeful returnees to farming or rural areas. The application period is from February 1 to March 21.
Participants will stay in Gyeongju for one month (30 days) and, by completing various programs such as 'Touring Gyeongju's cultural and tourist traditional markets' and achieving a certain performance score, they will receive support for accommodation fees up to 500,000 KRW per household, activity expenses, and participant travel insurance fees.
Selected participants for the first session will choose their preferred dates between April and May to start the living experience, freely carry out the program, and write online experience reviews on SNS or other platforms at least once a week.
