Corruption Prevention Policy Evaluation Rises Two Levels from Grade 3 in 2019 to Grade 1 in 2020... Achieves Highest Grade in Corruption Prevention Policy Evaluation Following Two Consecutive Years of Top Integrity Ratings in Autonomous Districts
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Lee Chang-woo) announced on the 29th that it received the highest grade in the 'Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation' conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
This is a result of a two-level vertical rise from grade 3 in 2019.
The Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation, which assesses the voluntary anti-corruption efforts of public institutions, has been conducted annually since 2002 to improve the integrity level of the public sector.
The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission evaluates the implementation performance of anti-corruption policies promoted by public institutions from November 2019 to October last year in seven tasks: ▲establishment of anti-corruption promotion plans ▲expansion of participation in integrity policies ▲establishment of anti-corruption systems ▲efforts to eliminate corruption risks ▲operation of anti-corruption systems ▲anti-corruption policy performance ▲efforts to spread anti-corruption policies, and classifies them into five grades (1 to 5).
This year, the district achieved excellent results by actively practicing anti-corruption will through the institution head and senior executives, such as the ▲Integrity Practice Resolution Meeting and ▲One Word of Integrity from Senior Officials, and achieved a perfect score in the operation of anti-corruption systems such as ▲institutionalization of the Code of Conduct for Public Officials and ▲anti-corruption policy evaluation of affiliated organizations, as well as efforts to spread anti-corruption policies.

Meanwhile, the district secured the highest grade of 2 for two consecutive years in the 'Integrity Evaluation' conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, was selected as the best institution nationwide in the 'Comprehensive Civil Service Evaluation,' and received the highest S grade for two consecutive years in the 'Autonomous Internal Control Operation Evaluation,' achieving four crowns in external evaluations of integrity and firmly establishing itself as an excellent integrity institution.
