Miryang City Supports Local Youth with 'Miryang-style Youth Tomorrow Employment Deduction'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Miryang City in Gyeongnam has taken steps to support asset formation for local youth and alleviate labor shortages in companies.
The city supports young people who have been employed as regular workers in small and medium-sized enterprises within the area through the ‘Miryang-type Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction’ program.
The eligible applicants are those aged between 15 and 34, residing in Miryang City, who have been employed as regular workers since July 1, 2020, and are subscribers to the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction.
After the 2-year maturity of the Ministry of Employment and Labor’s Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction, if they work an additional year and apply for support funds, the city will provide an additional 8 million KRW.
This year, a total of 30 applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the quota is filled.
For more details, please check the Miryang City website’s notices and announcements section or contact the Youth Policy Officer at the City Hall’s Job Economy Division.
