"Worst Sociopath"... Teenager Who Killed Scolding Mother and Even Boasted About It
Attempt to Conceal Crime After Secret Burial of Corpse
Police Call Him "The Worst Sociopath"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A teenage boy in the United States has shocked the public by killing his mother after she scolded him for poor school grades.
According to Fox News and others on the 25th (local time), a Florida court sentenced Gregory Ramos (17) to 45 years in prison on charges of first-degree murder, corpse mutilation, and evidence tampering after he killed and secretly buried his mother.
In November 2018, Ramos, then 15 years old, strangled his mother, Gail Clevenger (46 at the time), to death at their home in DeBary and secretly buried her behind a nearby church.
Ramos committed the crime after arguing with his mother over his school grades. After the crime, he called 911 and falsely reported, "There was a break-in at the house. My mother is missing."
Ramos also conspired with two friends to stage the scene as if a burglar had broken into the house. However, Ramos was immediately arrested as a murder suspect on the day of the crime and confessed to the entire act. It is reported that the police, suspicious of Ramos’s stiff expression at the time, interrogated him thoroughly.
Local sheriff Mike Chitwood said, "Ramos was one of the worst sociopaths I have ever encountered in my career. Right after his arrest, he showed no remorse and even boasted about trying to cover up the crime."
It is reported that Ramos only showed remorse after standing trial for two years and appearing in court for sentencing on the 22nd. In court, Ramos said, "I have caused irreparable harm to the world and my family. I do not want to make excuses for what I did; I only want to ask for forgiveness."
