The meeting, held over two days starting on the 25th, conducted resolutions such as amendments to the articles of association, election of executives, and budget approval via mobile devices.
Through a video conference, the newly elected executives gave New Year's greetings, reflected on the past year, and members united in preparing for the development of the local community and a new leap forward.
Chairperson Jo Sook-ja said, "I thank the members of the 34 organizations who worked hard for the harmony and development of the Volunteer Organizations Council last year," adding, "I was deeply moved by the volunteers who prioritized the safety of the local community and neighbors during the COVID-19 crisis."
