Gimhae City to Provide Additional Disaster Relief Funds for Charter Bus and Corporate Taxi Drivers Starting from the 27th
Bus 1,000,000 KRW, Taxi 500,000 KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, will directly support charter bus and corporate taxi drivers who are left out of the government's 3rd disaster relief fund.
Charter bus drivers were excluded from the support fund, and corporate taxi drivers were allocated half the amount given to individual taxi drivers, causing controversy over fairness.
Accordingly, the city decided to provide an additional 1 million KRW to charter bus drivers and 500,000 KRW to corporate taxi drivers.
The recipients are 267 charter bus drivers and 499 corporate taxi drivers who were employed before October 1 of last year and are currently working. The city will start distributing the support funds from the 27th.
