Hampyeong-gun Recruiting Applicants for the 'Youth Hope Stepping Stone Savings Account Project'

[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 26th that it will recruit 23 applicants for the '2021 Youth Hope Stepping Stone Savings Account Project' from the 1st to the 19th of next month.
If a young person saves 100,000 KRW monthly for three years, the county will additionally support 100,000 KRW.
It is a type of savings program where, upon maturity after three years, a total savings of 7.2 million KRW plus interest can be received.
It was first introduced in 2017 by Jeollanam-do and each city and county to support low-income working youth in preparing for a stable future and self-reliance.
Applicants must be youth aged 18 to 39 (born between 1981.1.26 and 2003.1.24) with their resident registration address in Hampyeong-gun, have at least 90 days of work experience within the last 180 days, have personal earned income of 2 million KRW or less, and household income recognized as 120% or less of the median income.
However, participants in similar asset-building support projects promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, or public officials working for national or local governments, are excluded from this support.
Youth wishing to apply can do so at the local eup/myeon office of their registered address.
The county will review eligibility requirements and select final recipients in order of lowest household income recognized among qualified applicants.
