The support target for this project is medical aid recipients aged 60 or older, who are residents falling within the lower 50% of the health insurance premium assessment standard as of January.
For workplace subscribers, those paying 103,000 KRW or less, and for regional subscribers, those paying 97,000 KRW or less are eligible.
The support limit is up to 2 million KRW per person for out-of-pocket expenses, with up to 1 million KRW for surgery on one joint and up to 2 million KRW for surgery on both joints.
The support covers out-of-pocket medical expenses for artificial joint replacement surgery of the knee and hip joints due to chronic degenerative arthritis, including examination and surgery fees.
