[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) related to a screen golf practice range located in Bokhyeon-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu City is increasing.
After Daegu City secured the customer list (114 people) of the golf practice range immediately following the first confirmed case on the 21st and began testing, 5 people tested positive on the 22nd, and 6 more tested positive on the 23rd.
Accordingly, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to this golf practice range has increased to 15 over three days (including 1 confirmed case from another region).
According to Daegu City on the 24th, including these confirmed cases, 12 additional confirmed cases (1 imported from overseas) were reported in the Daegu area the previous day, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the region to 8,235 (121 imported cases) as of midnight that day.
Among the new confirmed cases, 2 have unknown infection routes, and another 2 are related to a restaurant in Dalseo-gu. One more is a contact of an employee confirmed positive at a company in Dalseong-gun where a cluster infection occurred. The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to this company has increased to 12.
