Sejong City, Taxi Drivers Undergo 'COVID-19 Mass Testing'
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City announced on the 24th that it will conduct comprehensive COVID-19 testing for about 450 taxi drivers and operators in the area starting from the 25th.
The subjects can get tested at the Sejong City Public Health Center screening clinic or the screening clinic set up in the parking lot of Eojin-dong Complex Community Center, and the testing is free of charge.
The city plans to complete the comprehensive testing of taxi drivers and operators by the 10th of next month.

Lee Sang-wook, a city transportation official, said, “We hope that the active participation of transportation workers will help resolve the avoidance of taxi use caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “The city will do its best to prevent further spread of infectious diseases in the region through proactive quarantine measures.”
