Police Arrest Chinese Korean Resident Who Killed Two Men and Women in Daerim-dong, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A Chinese Korean who killed two men and women in Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, was arrested by the police.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 23rd at around 3 p.m. that they had apprehended Mr. A, a Chinese Korean in his 50s, on suspicion of killing two men and women.
Mr. A is suspected of stabbing two middle-aged men and women with a weapon in an alley in Daerim-dong at around 8:10 p.m. the previous day. Both victims were found in cardiac arrest and were transported to the hospital while receiving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but they died. It was confirmed that both victims were also Chinese Koreans.

A police official said, "He was arrested through on-site closed-circuit television (CCTV) and mobile phone location tracking," adding, "We plan to investigate the relationship between Mr. A and the victims, as well as the motive and circumstances of the crime."
