KakaoTalk Shopping, 'TokDeal K-Pet Fair' Event Held
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Kakao Commerce, which operates 'KakaoTalk Shopping', announced on the 22nd that it will hold the 'TokDeal K-Pet Fair' together with the exhibition organizer 'Messe Isang' from the 24th to the 27th.
This event sells pet-related products and has been held offline until now, but due to difficulties in holding offline events caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be held online this time.
Various promotions such as discount sales and gift drawing events will be held during this event. About 80 pet-related companies will participate, selling approximately 500 pet-related products at affordable prices using the 'TokDeal' service, a group purchase service for two or more people.
Also, customers who purchase pet supplies worth more than 20,000 won during the event period will receive a 2,000 won discount coupon, and to promote the event in advance, customers who share the event with KakaoTalk friends by the 23rd will receive 200P (Kakao Shopping Points). Up to 3 times per person, up to 600P.
Furthermore, to provide useful information to pet owners and to inform more customers about the purpose of the event, a live broadcast through 'Kakao Shopping Live' will also be held.
This broadcast will take place on January 25th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, featuring famous influencers Heo Song-yeon and Nam Ki-hyung Creative, who will introduce pet supply brands, review products, and engage in pet-related empathy talks.
Meanwhile, Kakao Commerce plans to continue providing differentiated shopping experiences to consumers based on KakaoTalk Shopping and TokStore, as consumption contraction due to COVID-19 is expected to continue for some time. Through collaboration with various B2C companies and industries, it plans to support sales channels for domestic businesses.
