[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yongsan-gu (District Mayor Seong Jang-hyun) is conducting the 2021 Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Package Support Project for Pregnant Women.
This is to support farmers struggling due to COVID-19 and to promote the health of pregnant women.
The support target is mothers who gave birth after January 1, 2020, or current pregnant women. Those participating in similar projects (Health Center Nutrition Plus Project) as of the application date are excluded. Previous beneficiaries and those who dropped out midway cannot reapply.
The support consists of an agricultural products package worth 410,000 KRW (an additional 70,000 KRW if the budget is secured).
On the dedicated online shopping mall, applicants can order organic agricultural and marine products, pesticide-free agricultural products, organic processed foods, and pesticide-free raw material processed foods up to 4 times per month (16 times per year), with each order ranging from 30,000 to 100,000 KRW. 20% of the amount is self-paid.
Those who wish to apply can do so at the ‘Pregnant Women Eco-friendly Agricultural Products Shopping Mall (Eco eMall)’. Recruitment of 600 people on a first-come, first-served basis starts at 10 a.m. on the 25th.
In-person applications are also possible at the District Job and Economy Department. Required documents include the application form, resident registration certificate, and pregnancy/birth verification documents. No additional documents are required for online applications.
