[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) will install additional unmanned civil service issuance machines at three locations within the district this year.
The unmanned civil service issuance machines to be newly installed this year will be located at ▲ Jungnang-gu Office Civil Affairs and Passport Division ▲ Line 7 Junghwa Station ▲ Mangwoo 3-dong Community Vitality Center.
The machine added to the district office building will begin operation from January 25, the Junghwa Station machine will start operating in February, and the Mangwoo 3-dong Community Vitality Center machine will operate in line with the expected opening of the vitality center in December.
The district explained that due to COVID-19 and social distancing measures, more residents prefer non-face-to-face services, and there have been requests from residents for additional unmanned civil service issuance machines, leading to the installation and operation of new machines.
In particular, the newly installed unmanned civil service issuance machines have introduced a credit card payment system allowing users to choose their payment method, and unlike the existing operating hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., they will be available 24 hours a day, enabling residents to conveniently issue civil documents at any time throughout the year.
Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “Through the additional installation of these unmanned civil service issuance machines, time and costs related to document issuance can be saved,” and added, “We will continue to expand the installation of issuance machines to provide diverse administrative services for residents' convenience.”
