Case 1471 is related to Gwaneumsa Temple in Yeongam, Jeonnam. The number of confirmed cases related to Gwaneumsa Temple in the Gwangju area has increased to six.
The 16th death due to COVID-19 in the Gwangju area also occurred.
At around 7 a.m. that day, case 1349 died from pneumonia caused by COVID-19 infection. Case 1349 was a person in their 70s residing at Hyojeong Nursing Hospital and was confirmed positive on the 10th.
