Intruders Break into Seoul Jewelry Store at Dawn... Police Tracking 3 Suspects
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] In Seoul, intruders broke into a jewelry store during the early morning hours, stole precious metals, and fled, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Gwanak Police Station in Seoul, at around 4 a.m. on the 21st, three individuals dressed in black clothing and hats broke the glass window and entered a jewelry store in Gwanak-gu.
They damaged the display cases, stuffed the precious metals into bags, and escaped. A private security company detected the intrusion and immediately reported it to the police, but the suspects had already fled.
Fortunately, high-value items such as pure gold were stored in a safe, minimizing the damage. However, the intruders stole counterfeit gold and 14K gold items, according to the investigation.
