Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters Awards Appointment Certificates to Volunteer Fire Chiefs and Others in the First Half of This Year
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Fire Safety Headquarters announced on the 19th that it awarded appointment letters to a total of 36 people, including Hyun Sangho, the 16th president of the Provincial Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation (currently the head of Yeondongnamseong Volunteer Fire Brigade).
The 36 appointees include 9 executives of the Provincial Volunteer Fire Brigade Federation, 1 advisor to the federation, and 13 newly appointed volunteer fire brigade chiefs and 13 deputy chiefs.
They plan to lead the volunteer fire brigades at various disaster sites, carrying out fire-fighting activities and COVID-19 response quarantine support, thereby taking the lead in spreading a culture of safety as guardians of the residents' safety.
Jeong Byeongdo, head of the Fire Safety Headquarters, expressed gratitude for the efforts of the volunteer fire brigades who serve as safety guardians by working at disaster sites such as fires, rescues, and emergency medical services, and urged everyone to make even greater efforts for a safe and happy Jeju for its residents.
