Prudential Life Introduces Smart Office at Headquarters
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Prudential Life Insurance announced on the 18th that it has introduced a smart office throughout its headquarters to create an efficient work environment.
The smart office, established on five floors from the 18th to the 22nd floor of Prudential Tower, covering approximately 1,400 pyeong, has transformed from a conventional office space into a future-oriented work environment.
Employees can work at their desired seats by considering their work schedules through kiosks installed at the office entrance, rather than having fixed seats. Executives can also choose and use executive offices, and unused executive offices can be utilized as meeting spaces for employees.
In addition to flexible seating, Prudential Life Insurance has provided phone booths, collaboration spaces, and private zones within the smart office area, and separated spaces by floor for work, meetings, rest, and client reception to enhance efficiency. A meeting room reservation system has also been introduced to allow reservations anytime and anywhere.
Furthermore, Prudential Life Insurance decided to operate regular remote work for existing employees. They explained that they aim to innovate work methods based on flexible work styles and changes in the work environment.
