According to Gwangju City on the 18th, as of midnight the previous day, 2 more cases (Gwangju 1443~1444) were newly confirmed, bringing the total confirmed cases to 11, including the previously announced 9 cases.
The infection routes of these confirmed cases were found to be diverse.
Gwangju 1434 was a contact of Gwangju 1428, while the infection routes of Gwangju 1435 and Gwangju 1442 remain unknown.
Gwangju 1436 and Gwangju 1440 are residents of Yeonggwang with unknown infection routes and are related to Jeonnam 654 confirmed cases.
Gwangju 1437~1438 are related to Seoul Dongjak-gu 884 cases.
Gwangju 1439 is an infected person from Yeongam Gwaneumsa, where continuous chain infections have been occurring.
Gwangju 1441 is also a contact of Jeonnam 658, related to the infection that started from Yeongam Gwaneumsa.
Gwangju 1443, added overnight, was a contact of Gwangju 1134 and tested positive in a test before the end of self-quarantine.
Another confirmed case, Gwangju 1444, was investigated as a contact of Gwangju 1435, whose infection route is unknown and who was confirmed earlier on the same day.
