Dongjak-gu Extends Temporary Screening Clinics Operation Until February 13
▲Sadang Culture Center ▲Dongjak District Sports Center Temporary Screening Clinics Extended for 4 Weeks
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Changwoo Lee) will extend the operation of temporary screening clinics, which have been running to proactively conduct tests to prevent the spread of COVID-19, for 4 weeks until February 13.
Since last month, the district has installed temporary screening clinics and, as of the 14th, completed testing a total of 24,343 people. Currently, two screening clinics are operating at ▲ Sadang Cultural Center (Sadang-dong) and ▲ Dongjak-gu Sports Center (Sindaebang-dong).
This decision to extend the operation is based on analyses that the recent decline in confirmed cases was also influenced by the early detection of cases through the temporary screening clinics.
The district plans to deploy about 70 personnel to the extended screening clinics to ensure that residents visiting the clinics do not experience any inconvenience.
The operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays. Anyone can receive free anonymous testing regardless of contact with confirmed cases or presence of symptoms.
