According to Woongjin ThinkBig, AR Science is an augmented reality-based science dictionary containing over 180 scientific concepts included in elementary and middle school textbooks. It allows users to experience various scientific principles such as life, matter, motion and energy, Earth and space through 3D images and sound. Scientific experiments like frog dissection and flame reactions can also be conducted using AR.
AR Science consists of two science encyclopedias and two marker books. By inserting the provided reflector into a smart pad to recognize the book, users can learn content through augmented reality. Using topic-specific picture markers enables more active interactive learning.
For example, combining molecular shape markers helps naturally understand molecular bonding states. Combining markers depicting animals and plants allows observation of interactions between animals and plants, Woongjin ThinkBig added.
