13 COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Jeonnam... Double Digits After 12 Days
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Double-digit COVID-19 cases have occurred in Jeonnam after 12 days. Health authorities are on alert as the previously quiet spread of COVID-19 may be starting again.
According to Jeonnam Province on the 15th, 13 people were confirmed positive for COVID-19 the day before and were newly registered as Jeonnam cases 619 to 631.
After 10 cases were confirmed on the 2nd, the number of cases stabilized with single-digit daily cases, but double digits appeared again after 12 days.
Cases 619 and 620 are residents of Naju City, and their infection routes have not yet been identified.
Seven people, cases 621, 622, and 624 to 628, are residents of Suncheon City. Except for cases 622 and 628, five of them were confirmed as contacts of Jeonnam case 582. The infection route of case 582, confirmed on the 2nd, has not yet been revealed.
Case 622 is a contact of case 615, confirmed on the 13th, and the infection route of case 628 is under investigation.
Case 623, a resident of Jindo County, is related to Jeonnam case 585, who was a contact of Gyeonggi Ansan case 711.
Three confirmed cases also emerged in Yeongam County.

Cases 629 to 631 all had contact with Seoul Geumcheon-gu case 370. It was confirmed that Geumcheon-gu case 370 visited Yeongam for about 10 days starting from the 29th of last month.
