Meritz Securities Invests in Global Growth Companies... Launches Global Super Growth Lab
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Meritz Securities announced on the 13th that it has launched the Meritz Global Super Growth Lab, which invests in global growth companies based on advisory services from VIP Asset Management.
This product is an advisory-type wrap service operated by Meritz Securities with advisory from VIP Asset Management, which has built 18 years of experience and aims for Korean-style value investing. It is characterized by discovering rapidly growing global companies in markets worldwide and making long-term investments in future growth companies.
VIP Asset Management plans to discover and invest in global companies that align with current trends and are rapidly growing, such as electric vehicles and new growth companies, through the synergy effect of its multi-strategy team dedicated to global stocks and the VIP Asia team responsible for China and Hong Kong. Since it invests directly in global stocks without hedging against exchange rate fluctuations, investors can also enjoy the benefits of holding dollar assets. This is also advantageous for investors expecting foreign exchange gains due to a strong dollar in the future.
A Meritz Securities official evaluated, "Interest in overseas investment is gradually increasing domestically to the extent that the term 'Seohak Ant' has emerged, but it is still difficult for individuals to invest in overseas markets where access to information is relatively weak." He added, "Through the research and abundant investment experience of VIP Asset Management, which was selected as the dividend-type entrusted asset manager for the National Pension Service last year, it will be easier to access investments in global growth companies."
