SC First Bank "Open a Deposit Account and Get a 5,000 Won Discount on Lunar New Year Train Tickets"
[Asia Economy Reporter Sunmi Park] SC First Bank announced on the 13th that it has formed a business partnership with the simple payment platform company SettleBank to conduct an instant discount event for Korail. Customers planning to travel by train ahead of the Lunar New Year are expected to somewhat reduce the burden of ticket costs.
Regardless of whether they are existing customers, anyone who opens a new SC First Bank deposit and withdrawal account from today until the 7th of next month, registers it as a simple payment account on the KorailTalk application (app), and then books a ticket can receive an instant discount of 5,000 KRW. SC First Bank deposit and withdrawal accounts can be opened through mobile banking, internet banking, or branches. The number of instant discount recipients is limited to the first 10,000 people. The discount benefit is provided only once per person. If the payment is canceled and then made again, the discount benefit will not be provided.
Meanwhile, SC First Bank has formed a business partnership with SettleBank, the simple payment operator of the KorailTalk app, to apply the instant discount for this promotion. Taking this opportunity, the bank plans to conduct various joint marketing and events with SettleBank-affiliated merchants, including Korail, in the future.
Jo Hyung-gi, Deputy General Manager of the Digital and Personal Banking Division at SC First Bank, said, “We plan to actively promote the acquisition of new customers and diversification of digital channels through the expansion of partnership channels.”
