Professor Kang Hyun-kyung of Silla University Appointed President of the Korean Association for Oral Health Science
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Professor Kang Hyun-kyung of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Silla University was elected as the 5th president at the regular general meeting of the Korean Society of Oral Health Science held on the 6th via the online video conferencing platform ZOOM.
Professor Kang will serve as president for two years starting this month, leading the society.
Currently, Professor Kang is serving as a member of the Establishment Promotion Committee of the Korean Dental Hygiene Education Evaluation Institute and as the General Secretary of the Korean Association of Dental Hygiene Professors, dedicating efforts to the advancement of dental hygiene. She has also served as vice president of the Korean Society of Oral Health Science.
Professor Kang Hyun-kyung stated, “I will work to further develop the Korean Society of Oral Health Science,” adding, “I will strive to create a society that contributes to domestic dental hygiene research and academic development, and will strengthen high-quality academic exchanges and practical cooperation.”
