Google Korea Appoints Kim Kyunghoon as New President
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Google Korea announced on the 12th that it has appointed Kim Kyunghoon as the new president.
Since 2015, President Kim has been overseeing digital marketing-related business for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises at Google Korea's Customer Solutions division.
President Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Computer Engineering and earned an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business in the United States.
He subsequently worked at global management consulting firm Bain & Company’s Seoul office and What If Innovation Partners’ Shanghai office in China.
As a software engineer turned management consultant, President Kim has carried out consulting projects including growth strategy formulation, new business and product development, and innovation capability enhancement for Korean conglomerates and multinational corporations.
