Unveiled 'LG Rollable'... Operation Video Released
LG Electronics Unveils Video at CES 2021 Conference
Confirmed Brand Name as 'LG Rollable'
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] LG Electronics has revealed the name and operating video of its first rollable smartphone.
At the 'CES 2021' press conference held on the 11th, LG Electronics unveiled a video of the 'LG Rollable.' This teaser video is the second one following the one released in September last year, but it is the first time that an image of the unfolded screen has been revealed. The product name 'LG Rollable' has also been confirmed as the official brand name.
The video showed the LG Rollable unfolding and rolling back twice. It demonstrated the operation of the LG Rollable, which can increase and decrease the screen size. The phrase 'More to Explore' at the end of the conference hinted that this product is related to the 'Explorer Project.' The Explorer Project refers to a smartphone project that breaks away from the traditional bar-type smartphone to create an innovative form factor.
Aside from the rollable phone image, specific details such as the release date or price were not disclosed. LG Electronics plans to hold a separate event as early as March to officially unveil the LG Rollable.
