Incorporation of the 4-Year Promotion Plan for Creating a Child-Friendly City in Gwangyang-si
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City announced that it will hold a "100 Citizens Online Discussion Forum" on the 29th to establish a mid- to long-term plan for a child-friendly city.
Based on the results of the child-friendliness survey conducted in November last year, the city will hold a session to communicate and share various opinions on child policies under six themes: ▲ Play and Leisure ▲ Participation and Civic Awareness ▲ Safety and Protection ▲ Health and Social Services ▲ Educational Environment ▲ Family Environment.
Based on the opinions presented on the day, the city plans to select key tasks and reflect them in the "Gwangyang City Child-Friendly City Four-Year (2022?2025) Implementation Plan."
The discussion forum will be held non-face-to-face using the Zoom video conferencing program and online platforms, and facilitators will be assigned to each group to ensure smooth progress.
Participants include children, child guardians, and workers at child-related institutions and facilities in the region. They can participate in the forum by visiting or mailing the Child-Friendly City Division or Child-Friendly Team by the 22nd, or by applying via fax or email.
