Bucheon City’s 'Josang Land Retrieval' Service Receives Positive Response... Over 2,000 Benefited Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will continue to provide the 'Finding Ancestral Land' service this year.
This service provides free information on land ownership status when a parent or other relative suddenly passes away and the inherited land is unknown, or when property management has been neglected and there may be additional inherited assets.
Last year, out of 7,371 applicants, 2,203 confirmed the ownership status of 6,259 parcels of land.
If you want to know the land ownership status, bring your ID and documents proving you are an heir, such as a family relation certificate, basic certificate, or family register, and visit the Land Information Division at City Hall.
Eligible applicants are the head of household heirs for those who died before December 31, 1959, and spouses or direct descendants for those who died on or after January 1, 1960.
A 'Integrated Property Inquiry Service' is also provided, allowing you to check property inquiry results via mail or text message. You can apply for this service together when reporting a death at the Administrative Welfare Center or Resident Support Center.
Additionally, there is a service that guides you to the lot number of land you own through the internet. Access 씨:리얼 (https://seereal.lh.or.kr), authenticate yourself with a joint certificate, and check under the 'Find My Land Service.'
