Gimhae City Provides Up to 1 Million KRW Interest Support for Jeonse Loans to Homeless Newlywed Couples

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam, will support the jeonse loan interest for newlywed couples without housing again this year, following last year.
The "Jeonse Loan Interest Support Project for Newlywed Couples Without Housing" targets newlywed couples who both reside in Gimhae City as of the announcement date (January 8, 2021), have registered their marriage within 5 years (January 1, 2016 ~ December 31, 2020), have an income below 180% of the median income, and whose initial jeonse loan amount is 150 million KRW or less.
However, basic livelihood security recipients, residents of permanent rental housing, national rental housing, Happy Housing, LH purchase rental housing, LH jeonse rental housing, and those who enter into lease contracts with first-degree relatives or their spouses are excluded from the support.
Applicants wishing to receive support can apply at their local eup/myeon/dong administrative welfare center from February 1 to 25. After eligibility screening, qualified applicants can receive support up to 1.5% of the outstanding jeonse loan balance, with a maximum of 1 million KRW.
