Changwon City to Provide 1 Million Won Each to Cultural and Artistic Figures
Applications Accepted from the 11th to the 22nd, Payment Before the Lunar New Year Holiday
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City, Gyeongnam Province, will provide activity support funds of 1 million KRW each to 600 cultural artists, totaling 600 million KRW, before the Lunar New Year holiday.
The recipients are cultural artists who have completed proof of artistic activity, have resided in the city for more than one year, and whose health insurance premium subscriber is themselves with a median income of 150% or less, or if a dependent, with a median income of 180% or less.
The application period is from the 11th to the 22nd of this month, and applications can be submitted by registered mail or email.

Shim Jaeuk, Director of the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, said, “We hope this disaster relief fund will bring new hope and a message of comfort to cultural artists in the new year.”
