According to The Washington Post (WP), on the 6th (local time), after protesters entered the Capitol building, a white woman was shot. Two sources reported that the woman who was shot received emergency treatment and was transported by an ambulance that arrived on the scene.
A video of the bleeding woman being transported was also shared on Twitter.
Currently, inside the Capitol, protesters and Capitol Police are armed and facing off.

Lawmakers who have not been able to escape are locking doors inside the chamber and confronting the protesters. Capitol Police are aiming their guns at protesters pounding on the chamber doors, preparing for any eventuality.
